Chefs on Parade, 2nd day

I went to Chefs on Parade on its second day as part of a requirement in class however I don't have a good photo that would represent the event. All were dark, blurry, and confusing (?).

COP stalled after 2004's due to some financial problems encountered by the organizers of the event (HRAP). After a few years, COP has come back this 2011 at SMX Convention Center with the theme The Ultimate Asian Showdown. There was a Bartending, Cake Decorating, Table Setting, and the highlight, The Market Basket competition for student and professional categories.

I am still going to post here a few photos (the most decent one that I've got) of some of the cakes in the Cake Decorating Competiton, Wedding Cake Category.

 

There were booths of traders of culinary and baking tools, equipment, and ingredients, schools that offer culinary, baking, and tourism, and workshop booths where a featured culinary and baking techniques were demonstrated by chefs on schedule. However, workshop booths were always full! As I walked along the alleys of the event grounds, I thought I might really have potential if I pursue culinary and/or baking. We'll see.
